Candidate List
Carl Ballard points to the Secretary of State’s (currently unofficial) list of candidates who have filed for State offices.
For the U.S. Senate position, Sen. Maria Cantwell faces four other Democratic challengers in the primary, including perennial candidate Mike The Mover. Seven Republican candidates will compete in the primary.
Update: N in Seattle did some more research and learned that perennial candidate, Richard Pope is running for Position No.2 in King County District Court’s Northeast Electoral District. I’ve followed up with a post at HorsesAss.

Hey Darryl, you might be interested in another perennial candidate that I ran across and posted about.
Just sayin’.

I wonder why State Representative District #48 Position #1 is not included in this list. Ross Hunter should be listed at least.

There are quite a few missing from the list. Just in King County, there’s nothing for the 11th LD #1 (Zack Hudgins), 34th LD Sen (Erik Poulsen), 34th LD #1 (Eileen Cody), or 36th LD #2 (Mary Lou Dickerson).
Also, the SoS fails to list either of the Democratic candidates for 47th LD Sen (Claudia Kauffman and Ed Crawford).

Perhaps the SoS “lost” the filings? Maybe Timmy was on to something?

Daniel and N,
I just posted about Pope on HA. The SOS web page says the filings are unofficial. Perhaps the other candidates filed late in the afternoon? I wouldn’t panic until the official listings come out.

I wouldn’t characterize my musings as panic. Nice find on Rope a Dope.
