Drinking Liberally
Tonight is a special meeting of the Seattle chapter of Drinking Liberally.
Our normal 8:00 meeting will still take place. But, some of us will show up at 5:45 pm to watch the State of the Union Address. So, pick-up some antinauseants at the drug store and head for the Montlake Ale House at 2307 24th Avenue E. (The Montlake Ale House has an excellent dinner menu—the antinauseants are for the Address.)
Feel free to haul your wireless-equipped laptop to Drinking Liberally. Think Progress will have a SOTU Live-Blogging event. And, Washblog will have Representative Jim McDermott blogging on Washblog about 45 minutes after the SOTU Address.
Finally, Goldy will host a Drinking Liberally simulcast/podcast panel beginning about 9:00 pm.
Geez…next thing you know Jon Stewart will be doing stand-up for us.
