Memorial Day Polls

There was a single new state head-to-head polls released on Memorial Day by Rasmussen Reports for Kentucky.

Sen. Hillary Clinton leads Sen. John McCain 51% to 42%. So…it looks like Kentucky may be in play with Clinton. In early May, McCain led Clinton 53% to 41%. Before that, in April, McCain only had a +2% lead over Clinton (48% to 46%).

McCain leads Sen. Barack Obama 57% to 32%. This is very similar to the 58% to 33% found in an early May Research 2000 poll. In March and April, McCain was polling in the low-60s to Obama’s high 20s in Kentucky.

I’ll post new simulation analyses incorporating these polls soon.
